Four new telehandlers introduced

FOUR NEW TELEHANDLERS INTRODUCED



Caterpillar has introduced four new models of telehandlers: the TL642, the TL943, the TL1055 and the TL1255. The new models range in capacity from 6,500 pounds (2,948 kg) to 12,000 pounds (5,443 kg), and maximum lift heights range from 42 feet (12.8 m) to 55 feet (16.8 m).

Key features of the new TL models include: Cat engines; a proven powershift transmission with four speeds forward and three reverse; a hydraulic pump that delivers full hydraulic power even at low engine speeds; a full flow sharing hydraulic valve; three steering modes; long reach; frame levelling of as much as 10 degrees; excellent site lines to the work area and boom; single step cab entry and exit; a simple control layout; intuitive, pilot-operated single joystick control; and an integrated tool carrier interface available with a standard manual coupler or an optional hydraulic quick coupler for quick, easy changing of work tools.
