Upgraded crawler dozers feature Tier III engines

UPGRADED CRAWLER DOZERS FEATURE TIER III ENGINES

The Case 750L and 850L crawler dozers, which replace the 750K and 850K, feature Tier III-certified, fuel-efficient Case Family IV engines. Powering the Case 750L dozer is a 4.5-litre, four-cylinder electronic engine, which delivers 84 net hp (63kW). The Case 850L dozer is now powered by a 6.7-litre, six-cylinder electronic engine, which provides 96 net hp (72 kW). The Case 750L and 850L dozers deliver performance and ease of operation with the Case-exclusive PowerStat hydrostatic drive, featuring one-lever control of speed and direction. Case PowerStat components are designed for the high horsepower needed to push the fullest blades, even through curves and turns.

The ergonomically designed cab provides maximum operator comfort and safety. In addition to single-lever control, the cab features wide entry doors, optional Air-Ride seat, panoramic tinted glass, and high-capacity heater and air-conditioning system. The large pump and cylinders deliver high-performance blade hydraulics, with extra speed and power for optimum control and breakout force. To best match soil conditions, a built-in tool enables easy adjustment of blade pitch from a maximum 52 to 60 degrees. Rated blade capacity ranges from 2.16 to 2.73 cubic yards (1.65 to 2.09 cubic metres). The 750L is available in long track (LT), wide track (WT) and low ground pressure (LGP) versions for maximum versatility. The 850L comes in extra long track (XLT), WT and LGP versions. To keep the undercarriage free of dirt, rocks and debris, both models feature a 49-degree sloping track frame cover and ample space between the track and machine.

Case designed the hydrostatic drive components on the 750L and 850L for the high horsepower required to push the fullest blades and reduce the number of passes necessary to move material, allowing operators to finish the job faster. The hydrostatic drive features electronic straight tracking with counter rotation and selectable settings for shuttle and steering for slow, normal and fast control reaction. There are 10 speed settings with infinitely variable steering for maximum maneuverability with counter rotation. A variable displacement dual path hydrostatic drive makes for high tractive effort. An optional winch drive (hydraulic equipment pump with through shaft) is also available.
