HEAVY-DUTY EXCAVATOR PROVIDES POWER AND PRECISION
The SK850 Super Acera demonstrates Kobelco America's commitment to its customers to provide superior power and precision. The SK850 offers nearly twice the breakout force as Kobelco America's next size model, the SK485. Features include: High productivity with a 930-cubic-inch, 496-horsepower diesel engine; same comfortable cab as our SK350/SK480 excavators; powerful, category-leading bucket and draw-bar pull forces; superior stability and balance delivered through expert chassis design; Ground-level accessibility to important routine daily maintenance items; four standard working modes to match the required application; and the Kobelco Intelligent Total Control System (ITCS), which provides the capability for both power digging and fine grading and levelling The SK485 has a proven 642-cubic-inch, turbocharged, fuel-injected HINO P11C-UP engine that delivers 326 horsepower and 1,030 lb-ft engine torque (ISO). It offers four modes for work operation: H Mode, for heavy digging and high productivity, S Mode for standard digging and fuel savings; B Mode, breaker mode for one-way flow attachments, and A Mode, auxiliary mode for two-way flow. It has a standard heavy-duty boom, arm and undercarriage. Heavy Lift provides approximately 10 percent more lifting power, and Power Boost adds 10 percent more digging power.
