AccuPlace with Ride Control technology enhances telehandler efficiency

ACCUPLACE WITH RIDE CONTROL TECHNOLOGY ENHANCES TELEHANDLER EFFICIENCY

JLG’s AccuPlace with Ride Control system uses distributed hydraulics to provide linear boom motion and a boom suspension system for more stable load transfer even over rough terrain. “AccuPlace with Ride Control technology breaks new ground to enhance telehandler efficiency on the job site, addressing one of our customers’ top priorities,” said Brian Boeckman, JLG’s product parent for North American telehandlers. “Designed to enhance load placement and reduce bounce while transporting a load, this system can help machine operators spend less time transporting and placing loads. It really does take telehandler performance to the next level.” JLG’s new AccuPlace system gives machine operators more precise load placement with fewer adjustments. This is accomplished with an arrangement of hydraulic hoses that creates a single loop in place of the valve bank used to disperse oil in traditional hydraulic systems. In addition the ride control feature of this system reduces bounce and allows operators to travel around the job site without jeopardizing the load, even on rugged work sites.

Other advantages of the distributed hydraulics in the AccuPlace system include 12 percent faster boom speeds, and reduction of leak points by 27 percent which reduces job site clean up and machine maintenance requirements. The system also offers a 25 percent increase in hydraulic flow so attachments that require a high auxiliary flow work more efficiently with overall better performance.
